Egypt’s AOI urges stronger Africa ties to boost exports

The Arab Organisation for Industrialisation (AOI) chairman Mokhtar Abdel Latif emphasised the need to strengthen ties with African nations to boost industrial and economic cooperation and tap into new export markets in Africa.
These statements were delivered during a meeting with President William Ruto of the Republic of Kenya and his accompanying delegation at the AOI, as confirmed in a Cabinet statement released on Thursday.
During the visit, discussions focused on leveraging the AOI’s advanced capabilities to meet the needs of Kenya’s developmental projects, including defence, security, and various manufacturing sectors.
Abdel Latif reaffirmed AOI’s commitment to strengthening collaboration with African countries as per President Abdel Fattah El Sisi’s directives for enhanced cooperation and integration in various industrial and economic sectors.
Meanwhile, President Ruto expressed his admiration for the AOI’s cutting-edge manufacturing technologies and diverse product range, spanning armoured vehicles, fire-fighting trucks, cash transport vehicles, mobile technology centres, and more.
