Egypt, Iraq Sign Multiple Cooperation Agreements at Joint High Committee Meetings

Egyptian Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly and Iraqi Prime Minister Mohammed Shia’ Al-Sudani witnessed the signing of several cooperation agreements following an expanded session of the Egyptian-Iraqi Joint High Committee in Baghdad.
The agreements covered various sectors, including local development, standardization and quality control, grain storage, road transport, culture, archaeology, and financial markets.
A memorandum of understanding was also signed between the Egyptian and Iraqi Chambers of Commerce, as well as agreements in telecommunications, competition regulation, and urban cooperation between Cairo and Baghdad.
The session concluded with both prime ministers signing the final report of the committee’s third session, reinforcing strategic collaboration between the two nations.
