Egypt hosts Arab space group talks, eyes unified regional strategy

Egypt’s Space Agency (EgSA) hosted a high-level meeting of the Arab Space Cooperation Group on Tuesday as part of the NewSpace Africa Conference 2025, the Egyptian Cabinet said in a statement on Wednesday.
The meeting, held on the second day of the regional space forum, brought together representatives from Arab nations to review progress on joint space initiatives and reaffirm their commitment to building a unified space future that supports sustainable development and enhances the region’s position in the global space industry.
Delegates assessed the status of ongoing projects led by the group’s working teams and presented the 2025 strategic roadmap. The session concluded with the adoption of a series of recommendations aimed at deepening cooperation and accelerating the Arab world’s collective ambitions in space exploration and satellite technologies.
