EMA warns of dust as Khamaseen low pressure winds hit the country Wednesday

The weather forecast map issued by the Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) indicates that Khamaseen low pressure winds will be present over the Western Desert as of Wednesday.
The EMA indicated that this low pressure will cause active winds that will raise sand and dust across most areas, reducing horizontal visibility.
Monday, April 28th, 2025, will witness warm weather during the day in Greater Cairo, the Delta, and northern Upper Egypt, moderate weather on the northern coast, and hot weather in South Sinai and southern Upper Egypt.
It will be moderate in the early evening and cool in the late evening and early morning in most areas.
The day will also witness active winds in some areas, and morning fog on agricultural and highway roads and roads near water surfaces leading to and from Greater Cairo, the Delta, the northern coast, the Canal cities, and northern Upper Egypt.
The Meteorological Authority announced today's expected maximum and minimum temperatures as follows:
Cairo:
Highs of 28°C
Lows of 18°C
Alexandria:
Highs of 25°C
Lows of 16°C
Matrouh:
Highs of 22°C
Lows of 14°C
Sohag:
Highs of 33°C
Lows of 19°C
Qena:
Highs of 35°C
Lows of 20°C
Aswan:
Highs of 35°C
