Investment min. heads for UAE

Minister of Investment and Foreign Trade Hassan Khatib headed for the UAE on Thursday 22/5/2025.
The visit is meant to further economic relations between the two countries in various domains.
During the visit, the minister will hold a meeting with UAE Minister of State for Foreign Trade Thani bin Ahmed Al Zeyoudi on means of enhancing trade relations between the two countries.
The talks will also review the latest developments in the ongoing negotiations on a strategic partnership agreement between both sides.
Khatib is also scheduled to meet with Patrick Chalhoub, Chairman of the Chalhoub Group, to explore investment opportunities and potentials in the Egyptian market.
The minister will also participate in a conference of the Emerging Markets Intelligence and Research (EMIR).
Khatib will also meet with Abdulla Al Sahi, Group Managing Director of Modon Holding, to review the progress realized so far in the Ras Al Hikma project and other ventures being implemented by the company in Egypt.
