The Arab Republic of Egypt condemns the military attacks launched by Israel’s military on the Islamic Republic of Iran in the early hours of June 13, 2025. These attacks represent a blatant and extremely dangerous regional escalation, a flagrant violation of international law and the United Nations Charter, and a direct threat to regional and international peace and security.

Egypt is following the current rapid developments with deep concern and strongly denounces this unjustified act, which will only further inflame the crisis, potentially leading to a broader conflict in the region. Such escalation could have unprecedented repercussions on the security and stability of the Middle East, putting the well-being of its peoples at grave risk and threatening to plunge the entire region into widespread chaos.

Egypt reiterates its firm position that there are no military solutions to the crises facing the region. Lasting peace and stability can only be achieved through political and peaceful means. The use of force will not bring security to any state in the region, including Israel, as security can only be realized through respect for the sovereignty, unity, and territorial integrity of states, the prevalence of justice, and brining an end to Israel’s occupation of Arab territories.
