Electricity Minister Mohamed Shaker witnessed on Saturday 14/3/2015 the signing ceremony of a memorandum of understanding between the Egyptian Electricity Holding Company and Orascom and IPEC companies.

The MoU aims to establish a power plant operating by coal to generate 3,000-4,000 megawatts in the Red Sea governorate.
