Minister of Electricity Mohammad Shaker witnessed on Sunday 15/3/2015 the signing of an agreement with Jordan's Fas Energy to to set up a solar plant with 2,000 megawatt capacity.

The total value of solar investments are put at dlrs 3.5 billion. The agreement was signed on the sidelines of Egypt Economic Development Conference (EEDC).
