The Minister of Antiquities Mamdouh Damaty said on Tuesday, 13/1/2016 an exhibition of restored monuments will be opened on Thursday, 14/1/2016 at the Egyptian Museum in Downtown Cairo.

Damaty noted that the exhibition will showcase 226 artifacts restored in 2014-2015 from several foreign states, including France, Germany, the US, Britain and Denmark.

The exhibition crowns the efforts exerted by the ministry over years to restore smuggled monuments, he said.
