Yacht tourism represents a new kind of sports tourism on Egypt. It is the considered the  richest kind of tourism since the owners are often wealthy who sail for recreation with significant financial spending power and therefore the great economic revenue  will go  for the benefit of the  Egyptian tourism.

The Mediterranean Sea is considered an important center for yacht tourism in the world, where more than 30,000 yacht annually roamed the area.

 Egypt encourages both yacht tourism, and the establishment of specialized ports on the shores of Egypt, including:

-Naama

-Bay Marina: The first yacht marina in Naama Bay, Sharm El-Sheikh.   It was created with the latest technological methods. The project was an important step on yacht tourism development.

 -Hurghada

-Marina:   It is located in the heart of Hurghada city at 60,000 meters flat. The Marina was designed to provide   berthing for 188 yacht marina at one time in addition to 128 residential units and apartments. Marina is a perfect example of international tourist on Egypt.

- Mediterranean

Marina: It is located on the Mediterranean Sea. It includes port of yachts. It is designed to provide berthing for more than 1400 yachts.

 In addition to this it is the first yacht port in Africa. The city is home to many of the clubs and recreational areas as well as private beach for ladies.

Taba Heights Marina: This is a more localized port that offers maritime visitors direct access, entry and secure moorings, making the Gulf of Aqaba a much more attractive and appealing destination to sail to.

 Taba Heights Marina currently has approximately 11,500 square metres of water area, with depths of between 2.5 and 3 metres near the main building. The marina can comfortably accommodate up to 50 yachts and provide overnight mooring.

Abu Tig Marina: The majestic and unique Abu Tig Marina serves as El-Gouna’s front sea entrance, and it is not different to any international Marina. The Marina provides all the needed amenities for people to be able to comfortably moor their yachts in an upscale port of the Red Sea Riveria.
