Egypt and Belgian enjoy strong and diverse relations in different aspects; whether political, economic or cultural. In 2005, the two countries celebrated the centenary of Egyptian-Belgian bilateral relations which dates back to the tireless efforts of Baron Eduard Empain who participated in the establishment of modern district in Belgium.
