Diplomatic relations between Egypt and Albania were established on 19 April 1956, but the relationship between the two nations goes back much further than that, to a little over two centuries fondly remembers Mohammad Ali Pasha. The two peoples share a lot of cultural similarities due to their being a part of the over an extended period of time.
