The visits between the two countries have witnessed a great push during the past few years.

In 2010: The Egyptian Assistant Foreign Minister for American Affairs and Organization of American State has visited Cuba.

In 2009:  The Egyptian foreign minister visited Havana presiding the Egyptian delegation in the Conference of the Non-Aligned Movement.

In May 2008: The Egyptian minister of culture visited Havana.

In 2007: The Egyptian Assistant Foreign Minister for American Affairs and Organization of American State has visited Cuba.

In 2007: The Cuban Minister of Foreign Investment and Economic Cooperation visited Egypt.

In 2006: The Egyptian foreign minister visited Havana presiding the Egyptian delegation in the Conference of the Non-Aligned Movement.

In 2004: The Cuban Foreign minister visited Egypt.
