The Cultural Cooperation Agreement between Egypt and Peru was signed in Cairo on March 26, 1974, and came into effect on September 10, 1976. While, the Agreement for Protection and Recovery of Smuggled Cultural Objects and Prevention of their Illegal Commerce was signed in Cairo in May 2005 and ratified in February 2006.
