The Egyptian-Indian relations are not only distinguished by their joint modern history, but contemporary relations also reflect cooperation between two major countries, as each of them represents a regional special weight in its area. Such relations got ground from the common aspirations and challenges they both face.
The Egyptian-Indian special and significant relations were clearly reflected in a large number of joint agreements in the economic, social, political and cultural fields.The Egyptian-Indian relations witnessed significant development during the past period on all political, economic, scientific and cultural arenas. Both sides were keen on strengthening bilateral relations through intensifying senior-level visits, as well as the Egyptian diplomacy serious demarche for enhancing cooperation with the major powers in the Asian continent, including India.
