Egypt has recently agreed on offering Namibia five scholarships in the Egyptian universities in the fields of medicine, engineering, geology and others. There are also two scholarships offered from Al-Azhar Al-Sharif to Namibia.

On the other hand, three scholarships were allocated within the framework of former President Mubarak's Initiative for developed Education for the Future of African Leaders to students from Namibia to study agriculture at the University of Alexandria.
