Eritrean and Egyptian participation in cultural and religious events:
• The Eritrean Mufti, Mr. Al-Amin Osman, participated in the 21st General Conference of the Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs, entitled: "Renewal of Islamic Thoughts" held in Cairo from 5-8/3/2009.
• Eritrean Mufti also participated in the Fourth Meeting of the World Association for Al Azhar Graduates (28–30/6/2009) under the title: "Al-Azhar and the West - Rules and Limitations of Dialogue".
