Egypt supported all efforts to restore peace in Liberia, and was one of the primary countries to welcome Accra Peace Treaty that brought peace to Liberia in 2003. Meanwhile, Egypt is participating in the United Nations Mission in Liberia (UNMIL) with 15 military observers and Police officers.

Liberia has supported all Egyptian candidates running for International and regional positions, whether in the United Nations, or the African Union, and all other International Organizations.
