Egyptian Cultural week in South Africa
The Egyptian Cultural week in South Africa was held during the period from the 25th of July till the 2nd of August 2009. It was a successful project of cooperation between the Egyptian Embassy in Pretoria, the Department of Arts and Culture of South Africa and the Egyptian Ministry of Culture, with the aim of boosting the cultural relations between the peoples of the two countries.
Al-Wadi Al-Jadeed Folk Dancing troupe and Abdelhalem Nowera Musical troupe participated in the cultural Week.
The main goal of the Egyptian Cultural Week in South Africa was to build bridges of friendship with the South African People and present the rich Egyptian culture to them.
