National academy for youth training

A presidential decree no 434 was published on Tuesday 29/8/2017 in the official gazette, setting up a national academy for youth training and empowerment.

The academy aims at honing the skills of young people to achieve hoped-for development in all state sectors.

The academy will be under the supervision of the president, as one of First National Youth Conference (Sharm El-Sheikh) November 2016’s guidance, which he certified.

The academy will have a board of trustees consisting of the prime minister in addition to representatives of the presidency, the Supreme Council of Universities and the ministries of higher education, planning and finance and some of persons with experience.

It will be based in Cairo at 6th October city containing 6 buildings on 10 thousand square meters.

Education system in the academic has been designed as French l’École nationale d’administration in cooperation with a number of international bodies, institutes and scientific institutions.

National academy for youth training goals:

1- Gathering youth energies in a national action that benefits the state and builds its renaissance.

2- Spreading cultural, social, religious and political awareness among youth sectors.

3- Contribute to the preparation of government regulations and policies to become more appropriate to the needs of young people.

4- Preparing political and administrative personnel, capable of assisting the State in its tasks.

5- Developing the capacities and skills of young people to be an essential and effective partner in local governance.

6- Building effective, developing, partnership community with all sectors (public, private).

7- Raising youth awareness of the dangers and challenges facing the state.

8- Developing youth’s skills and qualifying them to meet the needs of the labor market.

9- Raising social rule awareness in facing all kinds of dangers facing the state.

10- Encourage art, creativity and the promotion of thought and public decency.

11- reducing dropout from education and participate in educating of dropouts.

12- facing street’s children phenomenon, educating nd rehabilitation them to work and benefit society.

13– caring about people with special needs and develop their skills in all fields to integrate them with society.
